Simona Peycheva of Bulgaria, a guest of honor at the Sky Grace Cup International Tournament and Beijing Top Open 2025, recounted her decision to renounce her 2001 World Championship medals.

At that time, the 16-year-old gymnast placed third in the hoop, ball, and clubs events in Madrid. After the decision to annul the results of Russian gymnasts Alina Kabaeva and Irina Chashchina, Simona took first place.

Since June of this year, Eva Kononova from the Tyumen Region is training at the Academy under the guidance of Evgenia Eliseeva and Olga Minigalina, her choreographer is Elena Egorova. Previously, the athlete trained with Honored Coach of Russia Vera Shatalina.

Only at competitions held under the Sky Grace International Association rules can gymnasts present their jump rope routines. Because they rarely perform with this apparatus, it's especially difficult for them to compose themselves before going on the floor.
