Both young athletes from the Martial Arts Academy and their parents enjoyed the competition. After the competition, Anatoly and Matvei Matveyev, as well as Zakhar Kukin and Samvel Gevorkyan, spoke about the importance of competitions at this level and their goals in sport.

What did they learn during training? And what do they remember about the New Year's tree? Sambo wrestler Ruslan Chicherov and judokas German Dubrovsky and Kirill Ivanov told us about all this.

After the New Year party, we learned from Liya Rodionova from St. Petersburg, Ksenia Savinova from Gatchina, Yana Zaikina from Volgograd, Malika Timurshina from Kazan, Eva Kononova from the Tyumen Region and Sofia Vorobyeva from Moscow how this year went for them and asked them to name the most memorable events.

The Academy recently began selecting gymnasts for the group exercises. In a new video, we talked with a participant in the selection for the senior team — Sofia Bobrik from Zhukovsky.

Olympic champion Alina Kabaeva thanked all the coaches, gymnasts, medical staff, tutors and chefs that were part of the Academy in 2025, and congratulated them on the upcoming New Year!

They also appreciated progress of their daughter Polina over this year of studies at the Academy.

On the eve of the New Year, the large team of the Academy congratulated everyone who helps to develop rhythmic gymnastics.

This new episode is dedicated to the results of the Hopes of Russia tournament in Yekaterinburg.

What the participants in the New Year concert received? Eliza Polegaeva and Polina Pakhomova show that.

The group gymnast decided to go back to Nizhny Novgorod. She missed her parents terribly and made a choice to live in her hometown. Before leaving, the gymnast left a gift for the Olympic champion. She made a book containing her most treasured photos from her time competing.

Dmitry is the winner of the 2025 St. Petersburg Junior Championships in the +90 kg category under 18, and Maxim is the silver medalist of the 2025 St. Petersburg Championship in the -60 kg category under 21. The athletes told how the day of competition turned out, what they like judo for, and what the philosophy of this sport is.

Why did they decide to participate in the selection? What goals do they set for themselves? And what do they love about the group exercise? The Olympic champion greeted the participants in the creative process that has taken shape at the Academy in recent days and thanked the choreographers for their work with our gymnasts.

At the Russian Cup, we spoke with Milana Fedulkina and Maria Dmitrieva from Moscow, as well as Alina Galochkina from Vladimir.

Ruslana Varlakova and Alina Chipizubova, along with the 2018 girls' competition winner, Miss Grace Polina Pakhomova, unboxed the gifts especially for our subscribers.

The gymnast competed in the 2020 group and won the title of Miss Grace. The young athlete shared if she enjoys training, who helped her prepare for the competition, and who supported her before her performances.

The Academy's gymnasts, along with the participants in the group exercises team tryouts, attended a holiday decoration making workshop and wrote and sent letters to Father Frost.

Ksenia Savinova from Gatchina and Yana Zaikina from Volgograd, inspired by the choreographed routines, decided to create their own routine.

During class, the gymnast performed a Kabaeva turn and a high throw return, surprising her coaches.

After the mAlinka tournament, we spoke with Yesenia Mitkova's parents, Dmitry and Lyubov, about their assessment of their daughter's progress. Ruslana Varlakova's mother, Ksenia, also shared her impressions of the competition and thanked the entire Academy coaching staff.

Group exercise gymnasts answer! We asked teams from Nizhny Novgorod, Tula Region, Omsk Region, Moscow, Krasnoyarsk Territory, Volgograd Region, Kemerovo Region and St. Petersburg to name a gymnast that can be described in one word at the Russian Cup.

The new video from the Academy features the little stars' entrances onto the competition mat, as well as the sincere emotions of coaches and parents after their performances.
