Children with special needs came to the Academy for training.

Girls and coaches took a look there at a training session of figure skaters in the group of Alexei Mishin, the Honored Coach of the USSR and Russia.

Yana became the best in the all-around, ball and clubs routines, and also won silver in the hoop. Ksyusha topped the list in the hoop and came in second in the all-around.

Under the rules of the tournament, eight gymnasts qualify for the apparatus finals in each discipline, with a limit of two gymnasts per country.

The Academy covered all expenses for the children's flights and accommodations.

Alesya Naifonova from Vladikavkaz placed third, but competition rules stipulate that no more than two gymnasts from a single country can appear on the podium, so Vera Konopatskaya from Belarus won the bronze medal.

Training camps at the Alina Kabaeva Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy and the Martial Arts Academy were an important part of her preparation.

Sofia won two gold and silver medals in the team competition, while Maria won gold and silver.

The competition will be held in Omsk from 7 to 11 June.
