Mariia Borisova, Eva Kononova and their coaches Irina Gusarova, Evgenia Eliseeva, and Olga Minigalina flew in from Tashkent after the World Cup stage. Masha won gold medal in the all-around there and silver in the hoop finals.
Veronika Malinina, Diana Kotlovskaya, Evelina Tandalova and Liya Rodionova, together with their coaches Alina Gusarova and Elizaveta Zorkina, have returned from the Russian Category 1 Junior Championship at the same time. The gymnasts brought home nine medals from St. Petersburg, five of which were gold. Alesya Naifonova traveled to the Northern Capital to support the girls.
