This is precisely what Olympic champion Alina Kabaeva and coaches Olga Minigalina, Alina Gusarova, Zlata Tulubaeva, and Laura Acosta from Mexico worked on during a test training session before the AEON Cup with Ksenia Savinova from Gatchina. They helped the gymnast perform a clean risk and jumps in the ball routine.
At the tournament, Ksenia won gold in the junior all-around and silver as part of the team.
All Russian gymnasts who competed in Tokyo are partners of the Sky Grace International Association and competed under neutral status.
