We asked the athletes about their new routines and the significance of this competition. Agata Barekzai, Alisa Eremeeva, Anastasia Mikhailova, Anna Nikolaeva, and Sofia Solonskaya from St. Petersburg, along with gymnasts from the Russian Federation's regional team, Ekaterina Timoshenko, Alisa Chernyaeva, Nonna Nyanina, Maria Fedorovtseva, and Sabina Baiburina, shared their thoughts.
The athletes from the Zhemchuzhina Rhythmic Gymnastics Center won silver in the all-around, gold in the five-ball final, and bronze with three hoops and two pairs of clubs. Their coach is Elena Petunina. The Russian Federation's regional team finished third in the all-around and second in the five-ball final. They trained for the competition under the guidance of Maria Tolkacheva.
