While the Russian National team gymnasts were preparing for the World Championships in St. Petersburg, Alina Kabaeva watched a training session by young athlete Marika Saenko.

At the Russian Peoples’ Spartakiad, Olympic champion Alina Kabaeva congratulated Sofia Ilteriakova and her coach, Natalia Glemba, on their successful performance at the World Championships, supported Alexandra Borisova from Moscow after completing her all-around competition, and also praised Anastasia Vlasenko's performance and the work of her coach, Laysan Savitskaya.

Olympic champion Alina Kabaeva delivered a speech at the Russian Peoples’ Spartakiad in Yekaterinburg. She thanked everyone who has contributed to the development of Russian rhythmic gymnastics over the past decades and noted that it was thanks to them that Russia's team gold at the 2026 World Championships was possible.

That's exactly what the preparation for the World Championships was like. It was tough, and not everything worked out right away or consistently.

The gymnast from Moscow debuted new routines with the hoop and ribbon, choreographed by Irina Zenovka.

At the control training session in Novogorsk, Olympic champion Alina Kabaeva suggested changing a move during the skills test, and judges Zlata Tulubaeva, Evgeniya Gertsikova, and Olga Minigalina helped the gymnast from St. Petersburg refine the details.

Coach Evgeniya Eliseeva invited Sofia and Yulia Bogdanova from Yekaterinburg for a tryout at the Alina Kabaeva Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy.
