During a training session at the Academy, Alina Kabaeva switched on the famous composition of How Young We Were performed by Alexander Gradsky for Yana Zaikina from Volgograd.

The Olympic champion spoke with the gymnast about the meaning of the song lyrics and told Yana that this beautiful music was composed by Alexandra Pakhmutova, while the words were written by her husband, the poet Nikolai Dobronravov.

Yana is a European champion and a Russian Junior Championship silver medalist. The gymnast is a member of the main national team roster, lives and trains at the Alina Kabaeva Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy. Her coaches are Evgenia Eliseeva and Olga Minigalina, and Elena Egorova is the choreographer.

Olga Minigalina is the head coach of the Sirius Federal Territory team. Together with Evgenia Eliseeva, she trains top-ranked gymnasts of the Russian national team — Yana Zaikina from Volgograd and Ksenia Savinova from Gatchina, who also represent the Sirius Federal Territory.
