The first steps in mastering the Raffaeli pirouette

Sharing an episode of the assessment training session of our group exercise gymnasts before the Russian junior championship.

The team from the Omsk Region presented images of Greek goddesses at the tournament in the exercise with five ribbons. The lineup: Sabina Kuzmina, Yulia Sevostyanova, Veronika Romanova, Varvara Maslennikova, Polina Maslova, and Ekaterina Ivanishcheva. Coaches: Elena Arajs and Oksana Kurganskaya.

Alina Kabaeva noticed at a training session in Novogorsk that Yana Zaikina from Volgograd made mistakes in them.

The gymnasts also watched performances of the group exercise gymnasts at the World Cup stage in Sofia.

In preparation for the Russian Junior Championship, our gymnasts, along with the Olympic champion, paid attention to every detail.

Parents of the Academy group exercise gymnasts were among the fans at the Russian junior championship. They experienced every routine with the children and rejoiced in their success.

The Russian Junior Championship is in full swing. The tournament is again held in the capital of Tatarstan this year. We decided to check what gymnasts know about Kazan and national dishes, and also offered to guess the meaning of a few words in Tatar.

Three gold medals in a tournament out of three! And this is at the very first competition — the team was set up in January.

Our gymnasts were warmly supported not only in Kazan but also at the Academy during the Russian Junior Championship. The coaches and athletes experienced every performance on the competition mat together with the tournament participants.

During a training session in Novogorsk, Russian national team head coach Tatiana Sergaeva suggested polishing the roll in the program of Eva Kononova from the Tyumen Region. Alina Kabaeva went through the details together with Evgenia Kanaeva, Alina Festival choreographer Irina Zenovka and Academy coaches Evgenia Eliseeva and Olga Minigalina.

Children from the Diveevo Boarding School, the G. V. Chicherin Center for Family Support and Assistance to Children, and the Tutaev Social Rehabilitation Center for Minors visited the Alina Kabaeva Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy and the Martial Arts Academy. They got acquainted with the training process and the opportunities for sports.

The gymnasts are in first place. Joining the girls at the competition in Kazan are coach Daria Pirogova and choreographer Elena Egorova.

The Olympic champion was on hand with the Academy gymnasts during the test. Together with Alina Kabaeva and coach Daria Pirogova, the athletes worked on risk.
