The Academy gymnasts Mariia Borisova and Alexandra Borisova are going to the Northern capital, where from January 29 to February 1 they will perform at the St. Petersburg Championship at the Zhemchuzhina Rhythmic Gymnastics Center in the Masters of Sports program.

The young gymnasts presented their routines, and Academy gymnasts Mariia Borisova from St. Petersburg and Alexandra Borisova from Moscow also took to the floor.

During the lesson, the curators told the Academy gymnasts about one of the most difficult periods in the history of our country and people’s heroic actions during the Great Patriotic War.

The International Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Clubs Association was represented in Playa de Aro by Karolina Tarasova, as well as Yana Zaikina and Anna Vakulenko from Volgograd.

Academy graduate Karolina Tarasova won first place in the all-around at the international Winter Queen Cup competition in Spain, as well as two more golds (hoop, clubs) and two silvers (ball, ribbon).

Under the guidance of teacher Anna Pukhova, young athletes learn to hear music and work on their sense of rhythm.

Alisa Churilova from Sochi, Nikole Turbina from Kazan, Ela Deniz Asil, Neslişah Özcan and Mevsim Kazankaya from Türkiye and Elena Makhumedyanova from Alushta told us about the elements they learned during workouts in the Alina Kabaeva Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy.

The International Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Clubs Association covers all of the expenses for the flight, accommodations, food and gymnasts’ participation.
