    "Be scared, but do it anyway!"

    18.08.2026. Before the World Championships, Olympic champion Alina Kabaeva gave Mariia Borisova from St. Petersburg some advice: trust your instincts, work carefully with the apparatus, and never doubt yourself.

    And remember: the World Championships are a big celebration, something the gymnast has been waiting for so long!

    This advice helped Masha perform brilliantly at the World Championships, make a significant contribution to the team's result, and win gold. The gymnast also won three bronze medals in the ball, clubs, and ribbon finals.

    Masha's coach is Irina Gusarova, and her choreographer is Ekaterina Belova. Her choreographer and choreographer of the program is Irina Zenovka.

    Mariia Borisova from St. Petersburg is the World Champion in the team all-around and a medalist at the World and European Championships.
