Meet Sofia Sasina, a gymnast from Belgorod at a training camp at the Martial Arts Academy

Gymnast from Belgorod Sofia Sasina trains at the Martial Arts Academy training camp. She shared what competitions she has taken part in.

"I have been studying since I was three years old. I took part in simple tournaments, in all-Russian competitions in different cities, and also performed at Sky Grace. I performed well and took 15th place," Sofia said.

Sofia also noted how she changed her programs for the Sky Grace Cup.

"They changed my programs, inserted new risks and elements. Some turns with double circles with the foot forward. They also put in a new element with lifting the body up and then kicking, jumps and turns too," she said.

She shared her impressions of training at the Martial Arts Academy.

"Good, the halls are good, with tall ceilings, the floors are also good," she said.

The training camp for the athletes was organized by the Alina Kabaeva Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy, the Academy of Martial Arts and the Sirius federal territory  administration.
