The Alina Kabaeva Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy students had their first day at the Sirius Lyceum. On the Day of Knowledge, the athletes got acquainted with their classmates and teachers.
Olga Chernykh from Novosibirsk and Anna Vakulenko from Volgograd admitted that at the beginning of the week they will be happy to return to receive knowledge, and shared their impressions of visiting the school.
"It’s very beautiful here, not like at a regular school."
"I really liked it! We even had a lecture. Guests were invited to see us, and they all told us what was here before."
Teacher Irina Storozhenko explained how the adaptation process for children will take place, including for our gymnasts who came to study in Sochi from other regions.
"We pay special attention to the adaptation of these children. Of course, there is a special program to adapt children quickly and comfortably. In order for them to join in and have this process be as imperceptible and as comfortable as possible," the teacher said.
