After the first stage of selection, which was held via video review, 17 gymnasts together with coaches arrived at the Academy from different cities for the second stage of the selection process.
The athletes shared their goals and expectations from the upcoming training.
Elizaveta Dolgaya from Belgorod noted that she will learn new things and improve her programs.
"I want to learn new elements, new complex risks and clean up the programs. Many thanks to Alina Kabaeva for this opportunity, I am very glad to visit a wonderful place like this," Elizaveta said.
As for Valeria Prugova from Sochi, this isn’t her first time at the Academy. She shared her plans for this training camp.
"To become better, learn something new, practice programs and generally gain experience. I was at the opening in 2022, performed with a rope, was at the Alina festival, performed with a ball, was at the training camp and at the auditions," Valeria said.
Evelina Gorbacheva from Moscow told what classes the gymnasts will have at the training camp.
"There will be apparatus training in group exercises with a hoop and clubs, dancing.Everything is very cozy here, it makes me want to train," Evelina said.
And her teammate Polina Kembel set her main goal for the training camp.
"My goal is to get into the Academy and become better," Polina said.
The cost of tickets, accommodation and food for the gymnasts has been paid for by the Alina Kabaeva Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy.
