The Donetsk gymnasts' training camp at Alina Kabaeva Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy has come to an end.
Before leaving, the gymnasts shared their impressions of their stay at the Academy.
Maria Raevskaya told us about the conditions they lived in and what they did during their free time.
"Cozy and comfortable rooms. It is very good here for both training and rest. When we had time, in the evenings we went to the pool, to the sauna and to the hamam, relaxed, swam. And we also went to the jacuzzi, relaxed, worked on our muscles. In general, we relaxed as best we could. They feed you very well, it’s filling, the main thing here is healthy food, and you get your fill of fruits and vegetables, everything is very tasty. Of course, I would like to return to this magnificent hall. The conditions here are wonderful. And many thanks to Alina Kabaeva," Maria said.
She added what they learned during training.
"A new girl joined our group, we first taught her the exercises, then we put the exercises together piece by piece and got up to the music, fine tuned our throws, passes and collaborations," she said.
Anna Kumsieva also highlighted what she remembered most about the Academy.
"A very good hall, very good floors, lots of space where you can train. I really liked it here, I don’t want to leave, but I have to. I remembered how we were trained in group exercises, helped to become better. Basically, only positive emotions. I would like to thank Alina Kabaeva for the opportunity to train at a good, unique place like this," Anna said.
All of the expenses for the gymnasts from the DPR were paid by the Alina Kabaeva Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy.
