Training camp for children with disabilities is underway at the Alina Kabaeva Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy, and will run June 1-8.
On the first day of the training camp, Olympic champion Alina Kabaeva arrived at the Academy. She talked to young athletes and their parents, watched the performances and helped the gymnasts improve their exercise technique.
The charitable training camps are held in Sochi June 1-8. The program includes general physical training, acrobatics, stretching, working on elements, individual training, games, relay races and swimming in the pool.
In April 2023, young athletes from Kazan were invited as audience members to the Alina-2023 Rhythmic Gymnastics Festival.
