Training camp headed by coach Irina Dzyuba at the Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy is underway.
“Today we started the first day of our training camp, held a small introductory meeting with the girls. We discussed the rules of being at the Academy, as well as an approximate training plan. Every day in the morning we will have a small five-minute planning meeting with the children and with the coaches, because maybe we will be correcting something along the way,” Irina Dzyuba said.
The coach also clarified what the gymnasts can expect at the training camp. The athletes will be engaged in choreography, object training and special jump training, that Irina specifically developed a program for.
“We will have a juggler at the training camp, who will give the girls difficult coordination exercises to develop coordination. And, of course, they will go to their mats and do their programs and there will be an assessment training session with Alina,” she said.
The Irina Dzyuba training camp will run at the Academy until July 9th.
