The majority are making tremendous progress! Olesya Kovaleva about the Academy preschoolers

Academy coach Olesya Kovaleva told how classes are held for the youngest gymnasts at the free early development groups.

"The majority has made tremendous progress. We are practicing without an object and with such objects as rope, hoop, and ball. We are also using ribbons now, besides clubs. A ribbon is a small wand 10-15 centimeters in length. And the ribbon also, the ribbon is very small — from one and a half to two meters. This will prepare the girls to work with real ribbons later on," the coach said.

Olesya also noted the girls progress and good mood.

"The girls’ spirits are high; all of them are ready to work. Many of them already have good performance according to regulations, they are ready to learn something further on and increase their preparation level," she said.

Preschoolers from free early development groups have been training at the Alina Kabaeva Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy since September of last year.
