Academy coach Elizaveta Zorkina shared what gymnasts from the free early development groups at the Alina Kabaeva Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy learned over the past academic year:<blockquote>"The girls grew up, and we started doing more challenging exercises with them, new exercises for general physical training, and coordination skills. We learned a new exercise without an apparatus. They already performed with it at the mAlinka competition. They've probably gotten stronger in everything because they've started paying more attention to everything."</blockquote>She explained why she loves working with little children:<blockquote>"I really love working with the little ones, teaching them something, seeing their progress, those sparkling eyes, and instilling a love of gymnastics in them. I really love working with the little ones; they're my favorites. I'm quite patient, so I can teach them everything without getting tired. I understand that I can explain things in a way that the kids understand and can complete the tasks I tell them. They like it when I come up with something new."</blockquote>She also shared the plans after the summer holidays:<blockquote>"We'll work on stretching, I think. We'll also continue working on speed-strength training and coordination. We've already worked with this subject, but now we'll be creating exercises for it."</blockquote>

Three-time Tbilisi Cup champion Milena Schenyatskaya noted that the best gift for her last birthday was a victory at international competitions:<blockquote>"Of course, this is probably the best gift I could give myself: to perform well at international competitions, to present myself with dignity and represent the country with dignity. &nbsp;It's actually an incredible feeling to see your flag. Going out when your country's name is called. Competing for your country is a huge responsibility, but it's also incredibly rewarding, and I've missed it very much."</blockquote>The gymnast also told how she was preparing for the tournament in Georgia:<blockquote>"We always listen to the judges' and coaches' comments and try to improve. Indeed, at the beginning of the season, and even now, we're reviewing our programs. There were a lot of things missing: artistry, emphasis, difficulty. My coach and I tried to improve everything; we worked very hard on our programs and are glad that our efforts are being recognized, and we'll strive for more."</blockquote>Milena also shared her impressions of the performances and the support of the audience:<blockquote>"In my opinion, my best performance was with the hoop. I liked the energy level the most. I made the fewest mistakes there. Yes, there were still some mistakes here and there. But in the hoop, I probably performed most energetically. &nbsp;I really love performing for the audience; I love giving my energy, and that's how I get my energy from them. &nbsp;I'm happy to give the audience emotion. So, of course, it encourages me. And it's very nice when foreign gymnasts, their parents, coaches, and spectators in general come up to me and say how much they enjoy watching me. And that's what makes competing worthwhile. And that's what I love about international competitions. Even judges from different countries come up to me and say that I'm memorable for my energy. And, of course, that makes me incredibly happy."</blockquote>

Alesya Naifonova from Vladikavkaz became the champion in the all-around and ball exercises at the Tbilisi Cup.&nbsp;After the competition, the gymnast shared her impressions and told what it means for her to represent Russia:<blockquote>"I really liked it here; the atmosphere was very nice. The stands gave me a warm welcome.&nbsp;It's a great responsibility. I tried to do everything I've worked on, everything I know, to go out there and show my best. I really enjoy watching the competitions because every girl is interesting in her own way, each with her own unique personality. You can learn something from some of them. It's very interesting. Vladislava Sharonova has very beautiful programs, and she's very artistic."</blockquote>Alesya also noted that her most artistic program is with a ball:<blockquote>"In the old programs, we added artistic elements, but in the ball, it was already composed specifically for the music. All the accents and details are set to the music. It looks artistic."</blockquote>And she thanked everyone who helped her with the preparation:<blockquote>"I'd like to thank my coaches, Alina Ivanovna and Irina Nikolaevna, and my choreographer, Ekaterina Medorovna. Tbilisi Cup referee Olesya Kovaleva shared her impressions of the competition in the capital of Georgia and appreciated the importance of the tournament:<blockquote>"The organization is top-notch. There's a very friendly atmosphere here. The girls perform, the audience supports them, and they're also trying their best. This international competition, the tournament takes place in Tbilisi, gives the girls a great deal of experience performing with other gymnasts from different countries and seeing their preparation".</blockquote>The specialist also spoke about the importance of the artistic component:<blockquote>"I'd like to point out that our girls, our specialists, coaches, and choreographers have done a great job in developing their artistic skills. Their programs are very easy to follow. Now it's very important to fully express the musical piece with your body, emotions, and facial expressions, and hit all the right notes. That is, if a girl moves and executes everything musically, then, of course, the judges will have fewer questions and fewer deductions."</blockquote>And she noted the gymnasts' programs that she remembered the most:<blockquote>"Veronika Malinina demonstrated excellent programs, taking big risks, especially with her turns. She does the Raffaeli turn very well and spins very well. Alesya Naifonova also deserves a mention. She performs her routines at a high tempo, managing to execute many turns, including a Raffaeli turn and another turn, a fouetté, and thus earning a very high score. Sasha Borisova performed very well at a high tempo. Her artistry has shown great improvement. She's now more musically accentuating her lines, but not all of her programs were 100% successful. There were some minor mistakes and flaws, but she gave it her all. As for Diana Kotlovskaya and Evelina Tandalova, our young gymnasts, I think they did a fantastic job. These international competitions give them a tremendous amount. Again, they see themselves and can compare themselves to other gymnasts. This, of course, greatly helps them in their work. Winner Milena Shchenyatskaya performed her programs very cleanly, with a high tempo, with excellent artistry and emotional accents. All her musical pieces were performed very well throughout. We are very happy for her."</blockquote>
