At the international Winter Queen Cup tournament in Spain, the International Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Clubs Association gymnast Karolina Tarasova became the all-around champion among gymnasts born in 2010-2011. She also won two gold (hoop, clubs) and two silver (ball, ribbon) medals in individual events.After the end of the competition, the athlete shared her impressions of the performance in Playa de Aro.&nbsp;<blockquote>"This is my first tournament of the season, after the holidays. I really enjoyed performing here. The girls from different countries were rooting here.&nbsp; The hall is very good and the atmosphere," Karolina said.</blockquote>The gymnast also talked about the preparation that helped her achieve this result.&nbsp;<blockquote>"We had the training camp in Valdai. We went there to prepare for this event. Evgeniya Eliseeva helped us. We had a plan. At first we recovered after the holiday, gradually doing parts under new rules. Then we composed clean run-throughs, three run-throughs at once. We practiced risks, three out of three. The training camp in Sirius ended with a concert, at which the participants performed various dances. Afterwards, Academy coaches Elizaveta Chernova and Olga Minigalina summed up the results of the classes.Elizaveta Chernova explained how training at the Academy will help young athletes in the new season.<blockquote>"The level is different for everyone but we worked in a similar way with all of them, tried to give something new, so that the children keep all of that in their heads and are able to use these opportunities in their cities. I conducted a stretching session with the senior group. Over the week, even after three or four classes I noticed progress in stretching, that they heard me, how they need to stretch, how to do everything properly for pulling, with breathing.&nbsp; And I conducted jumping sessions with the junior group. And they started doing jumps and leaps and enjoying them right away," Elizaveta said.</blockquote>And Olga Minigalina expressed hope that new knowledge will bring new victories to the gymnasts.<blockquote>"The rules have changed in Russia and the international ones changed, and all the children and coaches watched with bright eyes and studied.&nbsp; I think this has maximum efficiency and will direct them to a new season, forward to new victories," she said.</blockquote>
