"We will invite you and train together." Alina Kabaeva tells young participants of the Academy training camp

Olympic champion Alina Kabaeva praised the young gymnasts on the results of their assessment training session at the camp.

The training camp was held at the Alina Kabaeva Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy in Sochi, May 15-21. There were 36 gymnasts from 16 Russian cities taking part in the training camp.

“I just want to tell both the girls and the coaches that when we hold training camps, we will not get lost, we will definitely invite you, we will work together, we will train together,” Alina Kabaeva said.

The Olympic champion also stressed that young athletes have the opportunity to train at the Academy under the guidance of leading coaches.

“And then if the children want to go to the Academy, we will get in touch with them through the coaches, and let them know which children can stay. I know that probably many want to, but parents cannot let their children go. But this doesn’t mean anything, we will still be all together. Let's work hard and be successful,” Alina Kabaeva told young gymnasts as they parted ways.
