The head coach of the Russian national team Tatiana Sergaeva explained how the training sessions of national team seniors are structured at the training camp at the Alina Kabaeva Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy:<blockquote>"The season was intense, very stressful, very difficult physically, because everyone was working on their new programs, so now they need a reboot. This reboot means that they need to rest both physically and mentally. That is why we came here, to your wonderful Academy, the sea is nearby, they swim, do exercises, breathe the air. And they work at the gym, but they work in an unconventional way. We are doing exactly what we don’t have time for during the competitive and pre-competition periods."</blockquote>The specialist also outlined the main goals for the juniors’ training camp that will begin very soon:<blockquote>"There is a pretty busy end of the year ahead, that is, we still have a whole stage of the Cup of the Strongest, the final, the Russian Cup. The same program is for the upcoming junior training camp. The same: sea, sun, air. The same reboot in choreography, reboot in general physical training, apparatus training. This is what the camp will be about.&nbsp; But the only difference is that it is already closer to the Crystal Rose, so in the second half of the camp the girls will already begin to return to their programs."</blockquote>The recovery camp for gymnasts of the Russian national team were held at the Academy from June 20 to July 4.

Choreographer Irina Malyshko, who teaches classes at the training camps of gymnasts from the Academy of the Firsts, told what is the feature in her teaching approach:<blockquote>"All the girls are of a different age, their training background is completely different, but the essence of my work is to give them the basics of classical choreography and at the same time teach them to coordinate also. My choreography is not entirely classical; I add elements of rhythmic gymnastics — some spins and jumps that are used specifically in rhythmic gymnastics. I put all this together and implement it into my work so that later on it would be much easier for the children doing the exercises to figure out and coordinate some movements so that they would be more or less familiar to them. I learned something from watching the coaches and their work. I watched a lot what comments they made and what more was needed. That’s why I try to include in my classes exactly what coaches need, what is needed specifically in this sport. We have a kind of tandem with the coach, where we all work together on one thing."</blockquote>She also shared the impressions from workouts at the Academy:<blockquote>"The conditions are magnificent, of course! A very beautiful, bright hall, mirrors everywhere, children can look at themselves from absolutely all sides. A comfortable mat, a platform, which is certainly a joy. Children can safely jump, spin, rotate, without anything getting in the way. It seems to me that the result will be much better in such area."</blockquote>The training camp of the gymnasts from the Academy of the Firsts is underway in Sirius from July 1 to 6.

Soloist of Alla&nbsp;Dukhova's&nbsp;TODES Dance Theater Pavel Volosov held a master class at the recovery camp at the Academy.The dancer talked about the main goal of the class.<blockquote>"Our task was to open them up a little emotionally. I’m sure it worked out, because by the end there were&nbsp;already had both&nbsp;smiles and energy. When we were traveling, we thought that the choreography was complicated, we would simplify it as we went, and we looked at each other like that. And when we arrived, we started giving the first eight, we realized that the girls were really taking the information and grasping the whole choreography. We decided not to change anything and to work more on the emotional background, which they did an excellent job with," Pavel said.&nbsp;</blockquote>He also shared the details of working with the athletes from the Russian national team and from the Academy.<blockquote>"We were told that there would be champions. And champions always get the number one task, so we counted on the fact that champions should be given winning combinations, champion’s material," the dancer said.&nbsp;</blockquote>He also noted how dance and gymnastics are similar.&nbsp;<blockquote>"In both choreography and gymnastics, discipline is the most important thing. It’s both here and there. Stretching — both here and there, the form. The girls were just, as it seemed to me, a little bit reserved due to the fact that sport is a slightly different direction," he said.&nbsp;</blockquote>
