How did the first training session of the Academy's preschool girls go? Coach Alina Gusarova shares

The first training session with coach Alina Gusarova with girls born in 2021 was held at the Academy.

Afterwards, the coach talked about how the young gymnasts were recruited.

"These are the youngest children at the Academy. The selection was serious. Alina Kabaeva held the second stage of the selection. Only the best, most promising kids are here. We will try to turn into gymnasts," Alina said.

She also shared her impressions of training with children and explained how the gymnastics foundation is laid.

"It’s very interesting with little kids because they absorb all the information that is said. They repeat everything after the coach - any gesture, any word. They remember everything and do it. We'll just study the basics of gymnastics. Stretch the legs, arms, stretch the necks," she said.
