Academy preschoolers from the free early development groups are taking rhythmics classes.

During the first class, the girls got acquainted with musical instruments and even took part in a noise orchestra.

Teacher Anna Pukhova shared the details.

"The girls and I got to know the instruments so that everyone could feel how they sound, what color they have, because each instrument has its own sound, and at first they all want to feel it, not even hear it, but feel like a real musician," she said.

Anna also noted the importance of rhythm for gymnasts.

"We are raising professional gymnasts, and any performance of their program is accompanied by music. Rhythmics is a subject that allows you to develop a sense of rhythm in order to feel the musical pulse within the music. To understand where the beginning of a music phrase is, the end of a phrase," the teacher said.
