Timur Arbuzov was the best in the -90 kg category and Matvey Kanikovsky topped the list in the -100 kg category. Ramazan Abdulaev won bronze in the -66 kg division.The women's team also performed successfully. Gold was won by Marina Vorobyova (-48 kg) and Alice Startseva (+78 kg), silver — by Natalia Elkina (-57 kg), and bronze — by Yulia Semikolenova (-48 kg) and Yuna Gerasimova (-52 kg).The team prepared for the start at the Academy of Martial Arts in Sirius.

While preparing for the Cup of the Strongest final, Karolina Tarasova reflected on her performance at the 3rd CIS Games.<blockquote>"I really enjoyed the tournament. It was very important. We prepared for it for a long time, very intensively. We had a lot of control training sessions," she said.</blockquote>She also shared her impressions of the competition.<blockquote>"I saw other girls at the World Games for the first time. I really liked them too. Each one has their own unique artistry. Each one has their own strengths. Each one is strong in their own way. I liked the girl from Azerbaijan, Azade, yes. It was obvious she was trying, and I liked that she did it very cleanly, calmly. Without any unnecessary steps," the gymnast recalled.</blockquote>Karolina Tarasova shared the advice she received from Olympic champion Alina Kabaeva.<blockquote>"I said I was really worried, that I wasn't feeling well, and I still wanted to perform well. She supported me, by saying, 'Don't even think about being sick right now, just think about the performance. And do what you usually do in practice, and don't pay attention to the pain, and then you'll be distracted, and you'll succeed," Karolina said.</blockquote>The athlete will soon compete in the Cup of the Strongest final in Moscow. She prepared for it at the training base in Novogorsk.<blockquote>"We had a lot of preparation, it was tough, and it felt like everything was perfect. I just need to pull myself together and focus. We prepared for it for a very long time, but diligently. We went through a number of competitions and trained for a week at the Academy, for which we are extremely grateful. And overall, looking at the entire tournament, I'm pleased with its mental state. It took place without any major mistakes. We saw new gymnasts. So now we'll work even harder. And this competition gave us such a great boost and impetus for further work, a very powerful emotional and professional one. It was very nice to see gymnasts from different countries who had already competed at the international level. And when our gymnasts finally saw them on the same floor, whereas before that we'd only seen them on TV, it was a real motivation for them," she said.</blockquote>The coach also shared her impressions of the competition atmosphere.<blockquote>"It was very nice. Such a friendly, homely atmosphere, and many gymnasts approached our athletes. We were happy that they had already come to an international competition, to an FIG competition. Many coaches came to the event.
