The Academy gymnasts went to Moscow for the second stage of the Cup of the Strongest

Academy gymnasts will take part in the second stage of the Cup of the Strongest.The following gymnasts will be participating:&nbsp;<ul><li>Seniors – Arina Kovshova, Eva Kononova, Mariia Borisova, Alexandra Borisova, and Anna Vakulenko;</li><li>Juniors – Ksenia Savinova, Yana Zaikina, Miroslava Monina, Alesya Naifonova, and Elizaveta Geraskina;</li><li>Junior group gymnasts – Anna Gryaznova, Vladislava Gaivoronskaya, Alisa Kirpicheva, Alexandra Ponomareva, Elizaveta Malashenko, and Kira Pryn.</li></ul>The second stage will be held from May 14th to 16th in Moscow.

Academy gymnasts will take part in the second stage of the Cup of the Strongest

&nbsp;Olympic champion Alina Kabaeva celebrates her birthday on May 12.Alina Kabaeva is a 2004 Athens Olympic champion and a bronze medalist at the 2000 Sydney Olympics, and an Honored Master of Sports. She is a two-time all-around world champion, a five-time all-around European champion, and a six-time all-around Russian champion.In 2018, Alina Kabaeva defended her PhD dissertation at the Lesgaft National State University of Physical Education, Sports, and Health. Her research formed the basis for the training program for preschoolers in the Academy's free early development groups.Today, Alina Maratovna is actively involved in the development of rhythmic gymnastics and the support of children's and youth sports. She is the President of the Sky Grace International Association, the head of the Charitable Foundation, and the Chairperson of the National Media Group holding company Board of Directors.&nbsp;At the initiative of the Olympic champion, the Alina International Charity Festival, a large-scale project combining sports, creativity, and art,has been held since 2009. Since 2021, the Sky Grace Cup international tournament has been held under unique rules. Competitions have already been held in Moscow, the Sirius Federal Territory, Beijing, and Doha.Alina Maratovna, happy birthday! The top three medalists in the all-around competition at the All-Russian Formula Victory Candidate Master of Sports competition: Kristina Dyupina won the championship. Another gymnast representing the Sirius federal territory, Daria Khoroshilova, took home the silver medal. Taisiya Revkovskaya from the Moscow Region won the bronze medal.The tournament ended on May 7.

Her coaches are Evgeniya Eliseeva and Olga Minigalina, and her choreographer is Ekaterina Belova.Second place went to another Academy gymnast, Alexandra Borisova from Moscow. Sasha's coaches are Irina and Alina Gusarova, and her choreographer is Ekaterina Belova.Third place went to Viktoria Bespalova from the Ulyanovsk Region.
