The Academy gymnasts visited the Grand Summer Music Festival in Sirius, which hosted a musical and poetic evening featuring People's Artists of Russia Sergei Roldugin and Nikolai Burov, and international competition laureate Andrei Telkov.The program featured William Shakespeare's sonnets, combined with works for cello.The Grand Summer Music Festival in Sirius is being held with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and the Administration of the Sirius Federal Territory.

The Academy’s gymnasts attended the Sirius Grand Summer Music Festival

Alexandra Borisova from Moscow will compete in the all-around final at the Russian Peoples’ Spartakiad in Yekaterinburg.She placed 6th in the qualifications. The Top-15 gymnasts advance to the final.Alexandra Borisova's coaches are Alina and Irina Gusarova, and her choreographer is Ekaterina Belova. Sasha lives and trains at the Alina Kabaeva Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy.

Young athletes from the Martial Arts Academy and Multidisciplinary Gymnasium of the Sirius Federal Territory held a joint training session; they practiced standing and ground techniques and tested their skills in bouts.The athletes' technique and the course of the fights were supervised by Evgeni Ivanov, a coach at the Martial Arts Academy, and Andrey Sinkov, a coach and instructor at the Multidisciplinary Gymnasium of the Sirius Federal Territory.

Irina Gusarova—coach of Maria Borisova from St. Petersburg, a team competition winner and three-time World Championship medalist—shared her emotions upon returning home from Germany and thanked her colleagues, fellow gymnasts, and fans for the celebratory welcome:<blockquote>«We worked and worked, and then it all ended, and it ended successfully. Only now are we beginning to understand how wonderful and how great it was. And how our dear Sirius greeted us. It's simply amazing! It's so nice, such attention, such care. Thank you so much! In my opinion, Russia is the best».</blockquote>

Irina Gusarova—the coach of St. Petersburg-based World Championship medalist Maria Borisova—and World Champion and Russian national group team member Daria Melnik have returned to Sochi.

They were welcomed alongside the gymnasts by Ekaterina Dyukova, Director of the Alina Kabaeva Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy, and representatives of the Sirius Federal Territory administration.
