Academy gymnasts will take part in the All-Russian competition Spring Cup, which will be held in Krasnoyarsk, May 19 to 22.&nbsp;Karolina Tarasova, Ksenia Savinova, Yana Zaikina, Miroslava Monina, Sofia Smirnova, Elina Khabirova and Anna Vakulenko will perform at the tournament.&nbsp;The Head judge is Victoria Anikina, Honored Coach of Russia.&nbsp;This year, the All-Russian tournament Spring Cup is being held for the 14th time.&nbsp;

Students of the Alina Kabaeva Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy honored the memory of heroes on the Victory Day.The athletes took part in laying flowers to the Memorial Sign for workers of the Southern Crops state-owned farm that died in years of the Great Patriotic War.Head of the Administration of the Sirius Federal Territory Dmitry Plishkin attended the ceremony. He addressed all those coming to pay tribute to the memory of the heroes: &nbsp;<blockquote>“Dear friends, today is an anniversary, 80 years since that very victory, which became a symbol of courage for our country.”</blockquote>The significance of their feat was also underscored by Elena Shmeleva, the Chairperson of the Sirius Federal Territory Council:<blockquote>“It was a victory achieved by absolutely the entire nation. And the heroism at the front lines was in tune with the heroism in the home front.”</blockquote>

The junior team of group exercises of the Belarus national team performed at the 1st stage of the international Cup of the Strongest tournament in Moscow.&nbsp;A team gymnast told what these competitions mean to them.&nbsp;<blockquote>"We liked the hall, the reception was very warm. Unfortunately, we didn't succeed in many things, but we don't intend to give up. This was a new experience for us, the first such large away competition. So we will work, correct mistakes and, of course, come to some more such large competitions," the team members said.</blockquote>She shared how the team dealt with stress.&nbsp;<blockquote>"It was nerve wracking. But we said some words of support to each other. We also worked hard to calm our nerves. The second dance track in the club routine is probably our favorite. You can show all the colorful aspects of the routine, emotions, artistry. And sometimes we can take a couple of breaths on the dance track," they said.</blockquote>The team consists of Varvara Artemenko, Ariana Barkhacheva, Margarita Silish, Maya Klimko, Karolina Tsidzik and Yulia Druzhinina. Their coaches are Ekaterina Belyavskaya and Tatyana Nenasheva.
