At the recovery camp at the Academy, Honored Artist of Russia, choreographer of the national team Vera Arbuzova told how choreography classes are held.<blockquote>"The first week is recovery. They go to the beach in the morning, they do general physical training in the open air, then swimming, sunbathing. And then there is choreography, and then training, dancing for artistic performance. Here with the girls we are slowly getting going, first weight training, and then we have the barre, and only after a week we started jumping the first jumps," the specialist said.</blockquote>She also noted the successes of the gymnasts:&nbsp;<blockquote>"First of all, I see progress. Because now there is time to dig around, put them on the hips so that they stand perfectly, feet, so that they exist. And it is easier to do when the muscles sag and forget what the wrong way to do is. And it is easier after the vacation to do it right."</blockquote>In addition, Vera emphasized the importance of a good choreographic base in rhythmic gymnastics:<blockquote>"I think that the choreography base is very important in gymnastics. Because it is immediately obvious when a gymnast has a good base, and when she doesn’t. It is much easier to place the legs, which, in fact, they show that colorfully.&nbsp; And it is very difficult to place the upper body, the arms."</blockquote>

We are happy that we will see the country, perform and show our program. The kids have had a break now, they had a recovery camp here at the Academy. We rested, and the kids rested, and now we have started the new season with renewed strength. The girls had dances with Dmitry Stepanchikov at the recovery camp. They danced every day, and now, when they do exercises, they feel more relaxed on the court and can even dance something."</blockquote>She also explained why performances at international competitions motivate gymnasts and their coaches:<blockquote>"Many thanks to Alina Kabaeva for this opportunity that both we, the coaches, and the children can visit different countries, see the world and perform.
