"I think there is no other place like this in the world!" Olympic champion Alexandra Timoshenko talks about visiting the Academy

After a tour of the Academy, Olympic champion Alexandra Timoshenko shared her emotions.

 "The impressions are even more intense than two years ago, when we were invited to Sky Grace for a tournament. Today we were shown all sorts of halls, the canteen, the swimming pool, and this is, of course, a wonderful place for gymnasts, for training. I think that there is probably no other place like this in the world. Therefore, great respect and gratitude to Alina Kabaeva. I think that the girls really, really appreciate it. And I am sure that this is bearing fruit and will bear fruit, both in little gymnasts’ training, let's say, children's training, and our stars," Alexandra said.

She assessed the conditions for training young gymnasts and gave parting words to our students.

 "Everyone in my generation, we say: "Girls, give us soul, give us even more emotions, so that it really is gymnastics." But in general, the girls are really unique, they can do a lot, they train a lot. And, of course, gymnastics is making huge strides forward. The approach to everything is very, very professional. I saw that there is a doctor, a psychologist, and a trainer at the testing. Only Olympic champions should grow up here," she said.
