“It was a wonderful experience for me!” Guatemalan coach Cecilia Juara talks about training at the Academy

The training of Daniella Gonzalez from Guatemala at the Alina Kabaeva Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy has come to an end.
Her coach Cecilia Juara summed up her stay at the Academy.
“We spent about half a month here thanks to an invitation received from Alina Kabaeva. All this time, Academy coaches helped us. Some of them looked at our programs and made changes that would be beneficial and help improve our level. We are very pleased that we were able to take part in one of the control training sessions and receive instructions from the coaches. After all, everyone knows that Russian specialists are experts in this sport. They reviewed our programs and made important adjustments that will greatly help us in preparation for the Pan American Championships, which will take place in June,” Cecilia said.
She explained why this was also a valuable experience for her as a coach.
“For me, as a coach, it was a wonderful experience, because I learned a lot about the structure of the training process and how technique is finetuned in rhythmic gymnastics. This part of the training process is often overlooked, but here I was able to see how this painstaking work on technique is carried out from a very early age. I was able to get a lot of important and interesting experience from all the coaches who work here, very talented and knowledgeable specialists. I am immensely grateful for this opportunity,” she said.
Guatemalan gymnast Daniella Gonzalez stayed at the Academy after the Alina Festival to prepare for the Pan American Championships.
