Participants of the international tournament in Qatar Alisa Medvedeva and Polina Frolova came to the Academy for training.
Russia’s Honored Coach Natalia Orlova told us how her students will prepare for performances according to the Sky Grace rules.
"Master of Sports of International Class Alisa Medvedeva and Master of Sports Polina Frolova are two gymnasts who are preparing to perform at Sky Grace in Qatar. We need to work on the program a little now, since Qatar will be according to the Sky Grace rules. We would like to train with other gymnasts, not only those who train with us. And get some other experience that we need," she said.
The coach also brought along younger students.
"And I also brought three more gymnasts. One of the girls is already fairly known. This is Kira Belkina, who recently became seventh in the all-around at the Russian Cup. And two small, young gymnasts. These are Veronika Eremina, born in 2015, and Polinochka Zavgorodnyaya, born in 2014. They also came to learn and watch," Natalia said.
Russia’s Honored coach of Russia Natalia Orlova and her students from Moscow represent the Sever Olympic athletic reserve school, a partner of the International Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Clubs Association.
All of the expenses for tickets, accommodation and meals for the gymnasts and coach have been paid for by the Alina Kabaeva Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy.
