Olympic champion Alina Kabaeva visited the first day of the preschoolers selection process into the additional education groups at the Academy.
She visited with the gymnasts during their auditions.
"Today is a holiday, no one should worry. You need to enjoy yourself, and not get upset if something goes wrong, okay? Because nothing is over at this stage, it's just the beginning. And today we have a wonderful holiday. So we just enjoy the process," the Olympic champion said.
In addition, she also spoke with the Academy students, who will be an example for preschoolers.
"I am very happy for all of us! Today is a very serious day for us. For the first time, a project like this is opening up at the Academy, where we will have small children who will work and study with us, and you will help them. And I am very happy that you go to the Sirius school and that you will also study and train there," she said.
On the first day of selection, a special commission, together with Olympic champion Alina Kabaeva, saw approximately 65 children as part of the selection into the additional education groups for preschoolers.
