For many of them, this competition marked an important milestone and an opportunity to prove themselves at a high level.&nbsp;These 14 medals are the result of a great team effort. I thank coaches Evgeniya Eliseeva, Olga Minigalina, Alina and Irina Gusarova, and Elizaveta Chernova, Elizaveta Zorkina, Alina Protasova for their attentive and consistent preparation of the athletes, as well as Elena Egorova and Ekaterina Belova for strengthening the gymnasts' choreographic foundation. Special thanks to Russian National team Head coach Tatiana Sergaeva and National team Senior coach Marina Govorova! Eva Chevtaeva won bronze in the all-around at the Russian Jinior Championships. Oksana Skaldina's student shared her impressions of the tournament and revealed the images in her programs.<blockquote>"This isn't my first time in Kazan. I feel comfortable. There were a lot of girls and people here today. It's really nice that they supported me. I have to be all cosmic in the hoop. An alien, daring. With the ball, I have fast music, and classical, slow music. With the clubs, as my coach says, I have to be a thug, daring, fast. For the ribbon, I have the Rhapsody in Blue."</blockquote>Eva also told how the preparations for the tournament were going:<blockquote>"We had training sessions, two a day. Control training sessions with the judges. They gave us feedback, and we worked on it."</blockquote>And she thanked everyone who helped her with the preparation:<blockquote>"I want to thank my coach, Oksana Valentinovna. I'm so grateful to her for her support and for putting up with me sometimes. I want to thank my school, Krylia Sovetov, for their support and for believing in me. I love them very much."</blockquote>

The gymnasts' coaches are Evgenia Eliseeva and Olga Minigalina.&nbsp;Alesya Naifonova won a silver medal with a ribbon and a bronze medal with a ball and hoop. Alesya Naifonova from Vladikavkaz and Elizaveta Geraskina from Moscow took fifth and sixth place in the all-around final at the 2026 Russian Junior Championship.At the 2025 Championships, Alesya placed 88th, and Liza 36th.Alesya began training at the Alina Kabaeva Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy over the summer, and Liza in May. They achieved this progress in less than a year.&nbsp;Alesya's coaches are Alina and Irina Gusarova, and her choreographer is Ekaterina Belova. Liza's coach is Elizaveta Chernova, and her choreographer is Elena Egorova.

Natalia Toisteva, a judge on the performance panel, spoke about the nuances of working at the Russian Junior Championship:<blockquote>"The execution team scores and penalizes for cleanliness, for handling of the apparatus, cleanliness of the feet, cleanliness of the hands, high and long throws; if the gymnast throws incorrectly or takes extra steps. And the cleanliness of the elements, as well as the compulsory skill of apparatus handling. If the gymnast’s performance is truly clean, particularly in terms of the cleanliness of the feet and hands, and she performs amplitude jumps, then she will certainly receive much better and higher scores. And, of course, the cleanliness of the execution of throws, if there are no losses. If there is a loss nearby, that is half a point; if with one step, that is seven-tenths; and if there are more than two steps, that is a full point."</blockquote>The specialist noted the gymnasts that she remembered:<blockquote>"I really liked Yana Zaikina, very much. Kira Yablochnikova. Ksenia Savinova also performed very well. There are many young, new gymnasts born in 2012 who also showed very good results. And specifically the cleanliness of the execution of elements, the cleanliness of the apparatus, the hands, and the entire routine."</blockquote>The competition takes place in Kazan from March 23 to April 1.
