The Academy and the Sky Grace International Association congratulate everyone on the Day of the State Flag of Russia

On August 30 and 31, the Hungarian capital will host the Gracia Kupa International tournament, where gymnasts from the Sky Grace International Association will perform.Sky Grace will be represented in the individual program by Mariia Borisova, Ksenia Savinova, Karolina Tarasova, Eva Kononova, Elizaveta Geraskina, as well as Kira Yablochnikova, Sofia Ilteriakova, Vladislava Sharonova, Viktoria Bespalova and Vladislava Nikolaenko.The Academy team consisting of Nelli Reutskaya, Alina Proshchalykina, Nikole Andronchik, Anna Gryaznova, Kira Pryn and Polina Zakharova will perform in group exercises.

Competitions

Sky Grace will be represented in the individual program by Mariia Borisova, Ksenia Savinova, Karolina Tarasova, Eva Kononova, Elizaveta Geraskina, as well as other gymnasts from the Russian national team.

The gymnasts from India shared their impressions of the training camp at the Alina Kabaeva Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy.Kimaya Karle talked about the goals she wants to achieve during training in Sirius:<blockquote>"The biggest thing that motivated me to come was the very high standards set by not only Alina Kabaeva, but also by all the Russian gymnasts on the world stage. So, my first impressions of this Academy is that they’ve always prioritized the athlete, it has everything that the gymnast needs under one roof. I really hope to achieve a lot of things in rhythmic gymnastics by observing here the other gymnasts, by learning from the coaches’ techniques. I want to become the best version of myself in the period that we are here, so that I can really explore my best potential."</blockquote>Arya Nitesh Kadam explains why she enjoys working with Russian coaches:<blockquote>"My experience with the Russian coaches is very amazing. They focus on every small details. For example the ballet teacher teaches us ballet and how to apply that in our routines. And different elements. Things I have learned so far is how to present my body on the carpet and how to work with my body. As every gymnast’s body is different and the technique therefore applies different. So I learn how to work with my body properly and how to balance everything."</blockquote>Avani Nitesh Kadam noted the peculiarities of training at Sirius and the Academy's specialists:<blockquote>"Here almost the whole day we are training and we have the chance to improve a lot. The Russian coaches have their techniques, which are new to me, and I have learned how to perform gracefully and will remember here. I hope to learn new things and get results for India international competitions."</blockquote>In Sirius, Avani and Arya Nitesh Kadam are preparing for the Asian Youth Games, and Kimaya Karle is preparing for the World Cup. Coach and referee Pooja Surve came to the training camp with them.

The Academy is working on a new production for Maria Borisova

The gymnast from Belarus, Darya Verenich, told about the history of creating one of her most striking programs — exercises with clubs:<blockquote>"My coach and I were listening to music in the gym after training, we came across this music, and we immediately took it for me. We sent the music to be cut and a week later we put it together with Tatyana Nenasheva. She is an amazing choreographer! I put it together with her for the first time. I was a little scared, but I really liked it. She has crazy ideas, what she comes up with is wow! And that's why I got these clubs. I portray a forest nymph there, a bit of a witch. I think this image suits me very well. Very interesting music, and exercise is like it as well."</blockquote>This routine was particularly memorable for the audience. Ksenia Savinova also <a href="https://skygrace.ru/en/news/mneniya/kseniya-savinova-raskryla-sekrety-podgotovki-k-turniru-v-moskve" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">noted</a> it.Daria Verenich performed in the senior routine at the competition in Moscow. In addition to silver in the all-around, the gymnast won bronze in the ribbon routine. The athlete's coach is Yulia Bichun-Komarova.

After her performance at the Cup of the Strongest Athletes of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus tournament, Karolina Tarasova thanked the Academy team and Olympic champion Alina Kabaeva for their help in preparation:<blockquote>"I am very happy that I did the way I wanted to do it; I performed well in the finals with clubs and in the all-around. Basically, I performed well at this competition. I am very grateful to the entire Sky Grace team. She told me a lot of good advice that helped me perform well. She said that I need not to worry. She told me that I should just perform from the bottom of my heart in the finals."&nbsp;</blockquote>The gymnast told how training in Novogorsk helped her before the start of the Cup of the Strongest Athletes of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus tournament:<blockquote>"It took us a very long time to prepare. We went from China to Novogorsk. I had two assessment training sessions, and I completed them very well. Tatiana Sergaeva and our judges told us a lot of comments. They judged us very rigorously so that we knew all the mistakes, where to complete turns, for artistry, sometimes for the rhythm and effects. We've fixed them all."</blockquote>In addition, Karolina shared that gymnast Nicole Rimarachin Diaz gave her a new mascot:<blockquote>"It's a mascot named Mickey. Nikol gave it to me.
