"Rulebook excerpts". Dive leap

The rules of rhythmic gymnastics include a group of pre-acrobatic elements.

We will look at an excerpt about the “dive leap”. Despite the name, it belongs specifically to this group, and not to the Jumping Difficulties.

3.1.15

Dive leap (leap with trunk bent forward, followed directly by a roll) is not regarded as Difficulty of jump / leap but is regarded as pre-acrobatic element.

We should note that according to the International Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Clubs Association, if there is a large deviation from the shape of the splits, the element is assessed only as a somersault.
