Svetlana Mayorova from the Sakhalin region is a coach of the highest category, head of the Korsakov Rhythmic Gymnastics Federation, International Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Clubs Association judge. She works as a coach at the Flagman sports school.
She spoke about the opportunities that the International Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Clubs Association rules give gymnasts:
"The rules recreated the period when Alina Kabaeva performed, when there was spectacular gymnastics, where you could show all the beauty of your body, your physical characteristics. A symbiosis of complexity and beauty without restrictions, when the gymnast could show skill in combination with artistry and choreography. Now it is coming back, and I think we will see the old rhythmic gymnastics again!"
Svetlana Mayorova recently came to the Academy for an Amur Tiger physical culture and sports society training camp.
