Sky Grace Grand Prix champion Mariia Borisova shared her impressions of the tournament after returning to St. Petersburg

After returning from Minsk, the champion of the Sky Grace Grand Prix  Mariia Borisova came to Radio Zenit and spoke on air about our tournament.

“The tournament in Minsk was important, since it was an international competition, you had much to defend, defend not only yourself, but also the honor of the country. This, of course, was the hardest part.

I managed to win the all-around. Although I didn’t succeed in everything on the first day, on the second day the victory was mine,” the athlete said.

Mariia Borisova became the champion of the international Sky Grace Grand Prix competition in Minsk in the all-around competition for seniors. This will allow her to compete at the BRICS Games. The competition will be held in June in Kazan, the gymnast will participate as part of the Sky Grace team.

At the tournament in Minsk, both Russian and foreign athletes had the opportunity to win a quota, since the International Association will be able to represent an international team at the BRICS Games.
