The TODES school-studio training camp has begun at the Martial Arts Academy in Sirius.
Teacher and choreographer Alexander Kazakov shared what the dancers are preparing for at the Academy.
"We arrived in Sochi just recently. This is our first time here. This is the first time in our history that we have an intensive course in the Olympic Park. In this intensive, our children, in addition to taking master classes from our teachers every day, also prepare for the dance flash mob that we have organized in the Olympic Park," he said.
Participants in the training camp also shared their impressions of the training camp.
Vasilisa Goryacheva noted that great professionals work with them during classes.
"I really like to be here. Plenty of positive emotions. Very kind teachers. You can talk to them about anything. Generally, they are like best friends but also teachers at the same time," she said.
She also admitted that she would like to perform at the Alina festival.
"I found out that children from TODES also perform there. It is so cool that an opportunity like this is made available - to be here and to perform at such an awesome festival. The performances are like a separate world in general," Vasilisa added.
And Miroslava Merkuryeva told how choreography helps her in sports.
"It develops grace, plasticity. I was in gymnastics for eight years. Gymnastics is also very helpful in life. It also develops plasticity and discipline. Currently, the gymnastics background is in any case helping me further in my life," she said.
Dancers from TODES took part in the Alina-2024 festival, and the group’s choreographer Andrei Brykanov worked more than once on staging the festival’s numbers.
