The Academy of Martial Arts held the first selection of children to the judo and sambo groups

The Academy of Martial Arts held the first selection of children to the judo and sambo groups, which is this year not only for preschoolers but also for athletes from 7 to 14 years old.

Judo coach Evgeny Ivanov explained after the views how the program will be organized for children over seven:

"We are enrolling preschoolers, children from 3.5 to 7 years old, and schoolchildren aged from 7 to 14 years. Starting this year, schoolchildren will study, learn, and train with us. Their classes will take place three times a week for an hour and a half. The athletic training program for schoolchildren is already starting, it's a more serious work, they will learn to throw, cast down and wrestle. In fact, preschoolers quickly grasp the program so to say, and they will rapidly catch up with those children that are already learning, studying with the use of our program."

Mom Elena Bolashova told why she brought her son Dobrynya to the selection:

"We actually learned completely by chance. We started asking around, finding out about sports training for kids. We became interested. Of course, the outfit, everything is all top-notch. And we wanted as a priority for our child to be engaged in some sports related to wrestling. First and foremost is good physical training, and probably equally important for us is the socialization of the child; this is acquaintance, this is communication with the coach."

And another participant, Aramais Shaginyan, shared his first impressions of the Academy of Martial Arts:

"I decided to slightly change direction, I decided to shift from MMA to sambo. I lived in Adler, now I moved to Sirius and I want to get here now, to the Martial Arts Academy. I think the level here will be higher than in other centers."

Selections are held every Friday from 17:00 to 18:00 PM.
