The Academy of Martial Arts in Sirius hosted the master class for children from judo schools of Sochi and the Republic of Abkhazia.It was conducted by Olympic champions Arsen Galstyan, Beslan Mudranov, Mansur Isaev, Khasan Khalmurzaev, as well as Olympic medalists Tea Donguzashvili, Khasanbi Taov and Tamerlan Bashaev.Tamerlan Tmenov, the Olympic medalist and the multiple world and European championships medalist headed the master class. He shared the details with us.<blockquote>"We invited boys from Abkhazia and local children. In the future, we plan to have people from other regions come too. The subtext of this event is to show exactly that our Fatherland must engage in sports, develop, and have strong youth."</blockquote>The event was staged as part of opening of the representative office of the “Fatherland” Society for Promotion of Development of Sport Martial Arts in Sirius.&nbsp;

We have the city championship held very-very early this year. The children have just moved to a new program. A new type appeared in group exercises — the ribbons," Natalia said.</blockquote>She also assessed the performances of the Academy gymnasts Masha and Sasha Borisova.<blockquote>"Our great joy is also that Masha and Sasha came to perform. Sasha has just moved to masters but she has a great future and excellent physics. She only needs a bit of time, she will keep up with everything. Masha Borisova has an ideal program. I would say she is in excellent shape. Very difficult elements, the music was selected and she already shows the character. I’m really excited. Mariia Borisova's biggest fan, her mother Olga, came to the St.Petersburg Championship. She shared her impressions of her daughter's performance at the competition in her hometown.<blockquote>"We haven’t been to St. Petersburg for a long time, there were no competitions here at home. We watched a lot on TV, but these are completely different emotions. And here, when you see it live, you see the eyes, you see the emotions, it’s, of course, impressive," Olga said.</blockquote>Olga also assessed Masha’s progress after having moved to the Academy.<blockquote>"Masha changed completely since she joined Sky Grace. Here she became completely different, revealed her, I think, potential. Maybe this is not all. We will continue watching, but it is very, very impressive, very emotional. I can tell you a secret that after each performance we cry a little from joy, the whole family. And of course, we all give her our energy, and she gives us her emotions, her beauty.
