The Russian national judo team won seven medals at the European Championships in Tbilisi.

At the first official international competition since 2022, with a flag and anthem, the athletes took third place in the medal standings.

Murad Chopanov won the men's 66 kg category, while Timur Arbuzov won gold in the 81 kg category. Arman Adamyan in the 100 kg category and Valery Endovitsky in the over 100 kg category also won two bronze medals.

In the women's 48 kg category, Sabina Gilyazova won silver, and Marina Vorobyova won bronze. Madina Taymazova took third place in the 70 kg category.

The national team prepared for the start of the season at the Martial Arts Academy in Sirius.
