"We are very happy that there is such a base!" Russian national team coach Arsen Galstyan talks about the Martial Arts Academy
The Academy of Martial Arts continues to prepare the Russian national judo team for international and domestic tournaments.
Olympic champion of the London 2012 Games in the weight category up to 60 kg, coach of the Russian national team Arsen Galstyan shared details of the training process and assessed the conditions at the Martial Arts Academy.
"We are currently preparing for tournaments such as the Grand Slam, which will be held in early December in Japan. At the end of the month, we have another part preparing for the Russian Cup. And in December we also have the final of the Russian Tour in Moscow. The Russian national team often chooses the Martial Arts Academy as a training ground. This is the best complex in the world, I think, for judo, that's for sure. I have been to many places, and I have not seen such a complex. We are very happy that we have such a base."
