How was the first day of the Russian Railways multi-sport competitions at the Martial Arts Academy? Participants tell us about the competition

On the first day of the Russian Railways multi-sport competitions at the Martial Arts Academy, team leaders and participants talked about the Vremya Loko Spartakiad and shared their impressions.

Nikolay Lukashov, head of the West Siberian Railway team, explained what stages the competition includes.

"We are currently holding another Russian Railways employee Spartakiad in Sochi. We are holding swimming competitions in this wonderful facility. Our Spartakiad includes five sports in addition to swimming, as well as track and field, weightlifting, beach volleyball and streetball. We try to hold all our competitions in the best sports arenas," Nikolay said.

The expert gave his thoughts about the conditions in Sirius.

"Everyone is smiling, everyone is greeting each other, wonderful water, wonderful conditions, what else is there? Only one thing — to urge to win. Our team is a flagship, we have already won these Spartakiads many times, and considering that we have won many times, even now we have come again with the same wish," he said.

The participants themselves also shared their impressions of the competitions at the Martial Arts Academy. Lyudmila Frolenkova from the Sverdlovsk Region noted that the team had passed the selection process to participate in the competition.

"We are participating in the Russian Railways Spartakiad, we passed the selection process and came here to represent the Sverdlovsk Railway," she said.

Elena Pospelova, also from Sverdlovsk region, spoke about the conditions at the Martial Arts Academy.

"This is not our first time here. We like everything here very much, it is well organized. It is great to defend the honor of the Sverdlovsk Railway," she said.
