At the Martial Arts Academy competitions,  Honored Master of Sports, European Champion and Russian Judo Federation Athletic Director Kirill Denisov spoke about the organization of the Russian Judo Championship.

"We are very happy that we were finally able to hold a large official competition like this on the Sirius federal territory, at the Martial Art Academy.  And we are very happy that the Russian championship is being held here. Of course, it was a little exciting, because this was our first experience. Words of gratitude to Sky Grace - our colleagues fully helped us in organizing this event. I think that the Russian championship is being held at a high level, as it should be," Kirill said.

He also assessed the level of competition at the tournament.

"The best judokas are participating here. There are 530 athletes. That is, very strong competitions, and almost all the leaders of the team in the renewal of the Olympic cycle are participating here. There are a lot of award winning athletes. These are Mansur Lorsanov and Valery Endovitsky, they came here and will perform here. That is, Russia’s freshest judo leaders will perform at these competitions," he said.

In addition, Kirill Denisov talked about the championship program, including the program for the audience.

"We have four competition days. The first three days are individual competitions. And the conclusion is our mix. These are team competitions among federal districts. This is a very interesting and truly exciting event. Also, in addition to everything else, we have a spectator program where children and parents can get involved in the world of judo and learn more about our wonderful sport. And excursions to the wonderful martial arts museum have been organized, where you can also learn about the history of judo," Kirill said.
