At the Russian Championship, Olympic champion Alina Kabaeva was congratulated on the upcoming March 8 holiday by world swimming champion Alexander Krasnykh, world artistic gymnastics champion Ivan Stretovich, NBA champion Timofey Mozgov, world bobsled medalist Dmitry Trunenkov, Olympic canoe sprint champion Yuri Postrigay, Olympic diving champion Ilya Zakharov, world sambo champion Suren Balachinsky, and Olympic artistic gymnastics champion Artur Dalaloyan.

Timofey Mozgov, also shared his impressions of his first visit to the rhythmic gymnastics tournament.
