This is how Yana Zaikina from Volgograd practiced a ribbon routine together with Olympic champion Alina Kabaeva, coaches Elizaveta Chernova and Olesya Kovaleva, and choreographer Ekaterina Belova.

The Olympic champion brought this to the attention of Eva Kononova from the Tyumen region. Alina Kabaeva explained the mistake step by step to the athlete and how to correct it. Eva's coach, Evgeniya Eliseeva, participated in the lesson.

After the World Cup stage, our gymnasts remained in Baku for a training camp. The sessions are being held with the participation of Russia’s Honored Coach Inna Bystrova.

After the first day, the group exercises team from the Volgograd Region placed fifth among seniors, the team from the Tula Region placed tenth, and the team from the Republic of Karelia placed 11th. Athletes from St. Petersburg (Lesgaft Sport Russian Sports and Organization Society) placed 12th, and those from the Tomsk Region placed 13th.
