Mariia Borisova from St. Petersburg has come a long way to climb to the World Championship podium. Behind the beautiful performances and vivid emotions are workouts, endless repetitions, fatigue, mistakes, new attempts, and the desire to become better every single day.

After winning the team event at the World Championships, Mariia, along with Arina Lavrenova, Alisa Eremeeva, Anna Nikolaeva, Sofia Solonskaya, Agata Barekzai, and coach Elena Petunina, were invited to the match as guests of honor. Before the match, Mariia performed a symbolic kick.

Young gymnast Ulyana shared with Olympic champion Alina Kabaeva her dream of joining the Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy at the Spartakiad of the Peoples of Russia in Yekaterinburg. Shortly after, Academy Director Ekaterina Dyukova contacted Ulyana and her mother, Sofya Melikovna.
