During a training session in Novogorsk, Irina Gusarova paid special attention to the fouette of Alesya Nayfonova from Vladikavkaz in an exercise with a ribbon. She remembered an interesting trick that Olympic champion Alina Kabaeva suggested adding to Mariia Borisova’s hoop program, and showed it to the gymnast.

On the first day of the national Young Gymnasts competition, Diana Kotlovskaya from St. Petersburg was in touch with her coach, Evgeniya Eliseeva. Evgeniya offered support and valuable advice both before and after Diana performed her new hoop routine.
