The victorious performance of the Uzbekistan national team with five hoops at the Sky Grace Cup

Before the European Cup, Arina Kovshova from the Novosibirsk Region, along with Olympic champion Elizaveta Chernova and Olga Minigalina, and Russian National team choreographer Kirill Barkan, worked on increasing the difficulty of her routine and improving its consistency. During the training session, Alina Kabaeva reminded the gymnast why it's important not to rest on her laurels, to gradually increase the difficulty, and to continue improving from competition to competition. At the tournament in Baku, Arina took first place in the ball final! The gymnast is a member of the National team main roster and lives and trains at the Alina Kabaeva Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy.

Ahead of the European Cup, Olympic champion Alina Kabaeva told Arina Kovshova from the Novosibirsk Region about this during a hoop training session. The gymnast won silver in the hoop event in the final at the tournament in Baku. Arina is a member of the National team's main roster and at the Alina Kabaeva Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy.

The champions' coach, Anna Ustsova, also assessed the cross country battle format and discussed their preparation for the tournament.

Gymnasts returned from Baku after performances at the European Cup. Athletes together with Mariia Borisova won 10 medals, seven of which were gold.

A whole team worked to ensure the gymnast from the Novosibirsk Region was in top form for the tournament. The gymnasts finished third in the cross-country battles. The active Russian champions also took first place in the three-hoops-two-pairs-of-clubs routine. Their coach is Anna Ustsova, and their choreographer is Elena Egorova. Russia’s Honored coach Inna Bystrova also worked with the athletes at the Baku training camp.

At the tournament in Baku, we had the opportunity to talk to the spectators and find out who they came to support and why they root for these gymnasts. Among the favorites were Mariia Borisova from St. Petersburg, the World Cup champion in Tashkent, and Arina Kovshova from the Novosibirsk Region, the Russian champion!

After the awards ceremony at the European Cup, Olympic champion Alina Kabaeva and the Russian team in group exercises thanked Azerbaijani Minister of Youth and Sports Farid Gaibov for his assistance in organizing our team's training camp ahead of the tournament.

Russian Champion Arina Kovshova from the Novosibirsk Region and Tashkent World Cup champion Mariia Borisova from St. Petersburg competed in the cross country battles at the European Cup.
